Emergency First Aid at Work

The Emergency First Aid Course contains core subjects, however, it can be adapted to suit your particular needs and is ideal for those who work in a low risk environment. The course is approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

The one day 6 hour course includes both theory and practical sessions within a relaxed atmosphere.

How will Emergency At Work Course be Assessed?
This will be done by a continuous assessment of the student by the trainer and on successful completion will be awarded a certificate that is valid for period of three years.

Please note, the HSE also strongly recommend taking an annual half-day skills update course each year, between your full certificate renewals


First Aid at Work Course

The First Aid Course contains core subjects ,however, it can be adapted to suit your particular needs. The course is approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

This 18 hour course is typically run over 3 days, however we can work around your requirements and spread the course over a number of days. It includes both theory and practical sessions within a relaxed atmosphere.

How is the First Aid at Work training course assessed?
There is a short practical assessment at the end of this course to demonstrate competency in life saving skills. Following successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate, which will be valid for three years.

AED Course

The Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course teaches the essential skills required by an AED operator and gives students the confidence to know what to do in this kind of emergency.

The one day 4 hour course includes both theory and practical sessions within a relaxed atmosphere.

How will the AED course be Assessed?
This will be done by a continuous assessment of the student by the trainer and on successful completion will be awarded a certificate.

Please note: The Resuscitation Council (UK) recommends candidates re-qualify yearly. This can be completed during a 3 hour refresher course.
